![]() ![]() When you have sustantial wealth, you want to make sure to always have 3+ of each runes. Another 40Hoto will come around later at a cheaper price and you’ll net indirect profit. ![]() Let’s say I am using a perfect 40res heart of the Oak and someone offers me 5x jahs, I should do that trade and then temporarilly use Oculus/Wizard’s Spike. Generally speaking, anything that isnt BiS you should look to trade away. When you trade for an item, you have to consider whether its considered best in slot (BiS) for its build. If you put a jah and ber into a non-sup balrog skin, you will never recover the value of jah/ber if you were ever to trade away. This isnt trading but its anoter easy way to lose value. Never put a rune/jewel that exceed the value of the base. Sure you can hit but this is not a sustainable strategy. This scenario wont happen, and you’ll be lucky to get back your initial investment. ![]() For instance you may think: ‘‘I will invest 5jahs worth or runes to roll 12x Call to Arms and roll a 6-6-4, which i will sell for 10jahs’’. Gambling on UNID items or runewords will always be a loss over a large sample size. This is important to keep in mind when you decide to hang on items Value of high end best-in-slot items will constantly be going up in relation to runes. Runes devalue over time creating inflation. Scout what you want to acquire, scout the market value and get yourself an educated idea of the value prior to trading This is the fastest way to lose considerable wealth. Never trade for an item that you have no idea what the value is even if it looks like a steal. For instance if a perfect item is worth X, then a 1-off perfect will be worth 1/3X, 2x perfect will be 1/5X (varies on items but never too far from actual value). The more potential variance combined with perfect rolls, the greater the value. ![]() Value is exponential whenever perfect so keep rolls in mind prior to trading. ![]()
